OK, I’ve finally installed Tracks, had it running in Leopard/Safari. Then unloaded all the contents of my brain into it & used it successfully for a week. Restarted my computer and have no idea how to get Tracks going again.

I assume it’s not as easy as pointing the browser to “http://localhost:8080/“?

I used an installer and am not very code savvy!

by default tracks starts on http://localhost:3000 so you can try that. Perhaps tracks is configured to run when you start your computer.

I’m not familiar with Leopard/Safari, but isn’t in the menu’s some start button for tracks?

Did you use BitNami? If so, you need to run the start script that’s included with the package. I don’t have BitNami installed on this computer, so I can’t remember exactly what the script is called (something like ctlscript.sh). There are instructions on starting it in a readme file within the BitNami package. So go inside your tracks folder inside /Applications and look for the readme file. As far as I remember, the default port for BitNami is indeed 8080, so once you’ve started tracks with the script, you can just point your browser to the URL you mentioned.

The Bitnami method works well. Nice one! Thanks for your help.
