Snow
When it isn’t being remorselessly dull, British weather is just plain weird. When I left work on the train this evening, it was beautifully bright. The low sun and clear air made even the dowdiest buildings shine like jewels. Gradually, as I got closer to my station, the colour drained away and big, fat flakes of snow started to fall. By the time I got off the train, the sky was low and a soft dove grey and I walked into a swirl of dim whiteness. It was like stepping out of the wardrobe into Narnia.

It's a good thing you weren't drunk; you might have gone searching for the Witch and Turkish Delight. The weather here in San Francisco is wierd too. A few hours ago there were dark, dark clouds over downtown. Now the sun is shining and it's 23 degrees in my room. Stupid global warming...----- Might have appeared like Narnia but snow is magic, notice all the adults around you turn into children. I can't wait for the snow to settle thick enough to go sledging, 27 going on 5.

Dante Evans: Who says I wasn't drunk? OK, no, I wasn't...
Andy: Very true. We had a couple of snowballs chucked at our window last night, and it wasn't kids.
