Lomo shots

Filed under: Links, — bsag @ 11:06 AM

I’ve updated Wings Open Wide with a few shots from the last film I took with the Lomo. As sometimes happens with film cameras, I’ve had this film loitering around for so long that I had forgotten what was on it. This is both a disadvantage and a huge bonus of shooting on film. It’s a lovely moment of surprise when you open the packet of prints and look into the past. This is doubly true when you use a Lomo—images very rarely turn out the way you expect, but there’s a kind of magic in that.

There's something really great about Lomo colours isn't there?----- Clair: Yes, it's something that's hard to replicate with other cameras. Unfortunately, the auto-resizing and upload method that I use has slightly blown out the extreme areas. If I get time, I might resize manually and upload new versions.

Ooh, many new photos! I think that "IV" in the sky looks more like a sideways "Z" -- obviously, Zorro just went to heaven.

Haha, you said "meters"! Crazy British. wink

Aaron: Hmm, I didn't look at it like that. That's 'metres' by the way—crazy Americans. wink. Actually, Mr. Bsag wanted everyone to know that the table is only 1.1 m in diameter, not 1.5 m as I said. So he's 40 cm worse off.
