Funny looks

Filed under: Random Mumblings, — bsag @ 04:07 PM

One of these days, I’m going to take my Lomo out on my recumbent bike, set the focus distance to 3 m and take photographs of the looks of amazement, surprise, amusement and derision on the faces of passers-by.

Keeping my balance whilst snapping away and pedalling at the same time might be a little tricky, but difficulty should never get in the way of art. I’ll tell that to the nurse when I end up in Casualty (translation for non-UK residents: the Emergency Room) with broken bones.

Photos of the broken bones too please smile----- Hands ON, Please!! I've just found you and your site and I don't want to loose you so quickly. Why not fit the camera onto a helmet, like a skydiver. Then, people WILL look at you the way you wrote. It' a promise!! Come to Sweden and visit us in the arcipelago with Mr. Bsag and the 'Looney Lomo Helmet' if you want to have some attention.

dave m: You ghoul! I have a friend who came off his bike unluckily and got a horrible compound fracture of his arm: bones poking through skin and everything. He had to have it pinned, and now has some rather gruesome scars.

JoRo: Hmm - a Looney Lomo Helmet. There might be something in that. I'll have to experiment with gaffer tape (my solution to any 'fixing things togther' problem). Releasing the shutter would be the real problem (there's no thread for a cable release).

And since you're new chez bsag -- Välkommen! OK, I cheated and looked that up.

I finally recieved my Lomo off of eBay, and brought it to work today. I plan to do a 'day in my life' thing, carrying with me everywhere I go today.
