I'm off tomorrow to La Continent for a conference—great timing, just as we're about to move, but it has been planned for a while. So unless I find an internet connection somewhere, things will be quiet around here until next Thursday or Friday. Have fun while I'm away, but no parties in the house, OK?

Incidently, I bought Sufjan Stevens' album Seven Swans on your recommendation last week. I think it's excellent also

The "silver" reference was not meant to imply that you don't possess any (just that I couldn't find it)
The "tidy up" reference was not meant to imply that you'd left the place messy when you left (I just put everything back how I'd found it)
And I returned later, stole back my own champagne and drank it.

Matthew: Actually, it was very wet, but we did have some exciting thunderstorms in compensation. I'm glad you liked the Sufjan Stevens.
